I Just Called to Say I Love Youは日本語では「心の愛」というタイトルに訳されているようですね。Stevie Wonderが作詞、作曲し1984年にリリースされた歌です。年末、年始に歌いたかった歌なので、今回教室で取り上げました。時間をかけて歌いこんでいただいたので、耳にしっかりと英語が飛び込んでくると思います。
たいへん心地よく響く歌です。どんな年中行事よりも（？）、どんなニュースよりもただ君と話がしたかったんだという素直な気持ちが表れた素敵な歌です。
